New Stone Age Design companies and architects to meet at Saiespring 2008
New Stone Age Design is a special event devoted to architects and designers and hold at Saie Spring 2008, the top building and furnishings fair scheduled for March 12 to 15 in Bologna.
Now being organized is the special event New Stone Age Design devoted to architects and designers and to be held at Saie Spring 2008, the top building and furnishings fair scheduled for March 12 to 15 in Bologna - already host to SAIE DUE - and curated by Confindustria Marmomacchine in collaboration with Pietra Autentica and the Bologna Fair Board.
The New Stone Age Design event consists of an exhibit of "special pieces" supplied by member companies interested in working with noted architect and designer Denis Santachiara, curator of the event and creator of a highly innovative way of displaying stone products.
Given the nature and high profile of the project, companies will be participating even in creating new prototypes (coordinated by the Santachiara firm) to present to the architects and designers visiting the exhibit. And given the great interest that companies are demonstrating, initial work meetings have been set up with the Santachiara team at the Milan offices of Confindustria Marmomacchine. These meetings are by invitation.
In addition to the exhibit special booths will be set up and available to companies wishing to combine collaboration with Santachiara with purchase - through BolognaFiere - of commercial space at which to meet with designers during SAIE SPRING 2008.
